She is somewhat responsible for the destiny of her community, but she also runs the risk of being shunned at any point if she chops off her hair. She has to take good care of her hair because the power comes from her hair so if her hair is cut, it will affect everything and everyone around her. She prefers that no one touch her and transfer to her their unhappiness, melancholy, or any other negative energy that their empty soul may be holding since she believes in the existence of energy transfer. Pili was the white man that caught Honey’s attention. Pili ended up making Honey cut her hair in the end and tricked her.
